The Best Wood for Your Sauna!
Is the ideal material for sauna construction, as the thermal modification process significantly increases resistance to moisture and temperature changes—crucial in the high-humidity, high-temperature sauna environment. Additionally, thermal treatment gives the wood a beautiful, deep colour and a unique aroma, enhancing the relaxing and aesthetic atmosphere inside the sauna.
ThermoWood is also an eco-friendly choice, as the modification process does not require harmful chemicals. Increased durability means structures last for many years, reducing replacement needs and benefiting the environment.
Advantages of ThermoWood:
-
Resistance to deformation – thermal treatment reduces sensitivity to humidity changes, minimising shrinkage, cracking, and warping.
-
Weather resistance – increased resistance to rain, snow, frost, and UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor saunas.
-
Resistance to insects and fungi – thermal processing significantly limits biological degradation.
-
Aesthetic appearance – uniform texture and warm, natural colour perfectly suited to saunas.
-
Allergy-friendly – thermally modified wood is non-allergenic.
-
Eco-friendly – produced from renewable raw materials without chemical additives.
-
Thermal insulation properties – better insulation compared to untreated wood, making sauna use more economical.
-
Long lifespan – exceptional durability makes the sauna a long-term investment.
Note: We recommend external impregnation of the sauna after installation. Failure to protect the wood will result in accelerated material wear.
The interior of the sauna should be treated with paraffin oil intended for saunas, which makes cleaning easier and may additionally extend the durability of the wood.

High-temperature saunas are becoming increasingly popular not only in Europe but also in Poland, for several important reasons:
-
Detoxification: Intense sweating removes toxins from the body.
-
Relaxation and stress reduction: Sauna sessions promote deep relaxation and reduce tension.
-
Weight loss and fat burning: A single session can burn up to 300 calories.
-
Comfortable seating and lying positions: Ensures full relaxation during sessions.
-
Positive impact on cardiovascular health: Improves heart function and helps regulate blood pressure.
-
Recommended for specific conditions: Especially beneficial for people with back muscle tension, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, and controlled asthma.
Regular use of a traditional Finnish sauna positively affects both body and mind, which is why it continues to gain popularity across Europe.

Recommended Sauna Use
We recommend using a dry sauna twice a week to enjoy full health benefits.
Entering the sauna:
Begin the session by entering the sauna, where air temperature reaches high levels. The recommended session time is up to 15 minutes.
Cooling down:
After 15 minutes, leave the sauna and cool the body with a short, cooler shower.
Rest:
After cooling down, relax and allow the body to regenerate.
Repeat the cycle:
Repeat the cycle two or three times for a full sauna session.
End of session:
After the final cycle, rinse the body with lukewarm water and dry with a towel.
Post-session rest:
Rest for 15–20 minutes to allow the body to return to normal temperature.
Hydration:
Remember to drink water regularly, as intense sweating can lead to dehydration.
By following these guidelines, you can fully enjoy the health benefits, detoxification, and relaxation provided by a traditional Finnish sauna.
