This pool sand filter helps keep your pool water clean and clear. Its sand bed captures suspended dirt and debris as water flows through the tank. The filter features a 350 mm tank, a 4-way control valve and a pressure gauge. In addition, the set includes connectors for 32 mm and 38 mm hoses.
Your pool pump pushes water through the filter tank. As the water passes through the sand bed, the filter media traps suspended particles. The filtered water then returns to the pool.
This process helps remove physical impurities from the circulating water. However, filtration works alongside regular cleaning and suitable water treatment. Together, these steps support your pool’s ongoing care.
The tank measures 350 mm in diameter. With the valve, the filter reaches an overall height of 600 mm.
Before ordering, measure the available installation space. Also, allow enough room to reach the control valve, read the pressure gauge and access the drain plug.
Next, check the hoses on your existing system. The set includes three connectors with seals for 32 mm and 38 mm hoses. Therefore, you should confirm both the hose size and connection arrangement before installation.
The filter requires 27 kg of filter sand with a grain size of 0.45–0.56 mm. The supplied set does not include sand, so you will need to obtain it separately.
When buying filter media, compare the grain size on the packaging with the specification above. Then follow the manufacturer’s instructions for filling the tank and preparing the filter for use.
For ongoing care, follow the manufacturer’s guidance on valve operation and filter maintenance.
